26th Street Cafe is a local community cafe in "La Villita" (Little Village). Cafe menu showcases fresh Conchas (Mexican artisan bread), tamales, and bagels made from Little Village entrepreneurs. Cafe supports small coffee bean farmers in Guatemala, Honduras, Veracruz and Costa Rica. Starting in January 2024, Food Hero will use the cafe as a co-working space along with their shared kitchen to offer small business services for those looking to start a food business such as technical assistance, access to capital, business licensing, cohort learning, workshops, online classes, culinary classes, and a grocery store to showcase local food products.
